Argentina's anti-dumping on a number of Chinese products

According to the Resolution No. 40 / 2022 of the Ministry of production published in the Argentine official gazette on February 4, 2022, the Argentine government completed the anti-dumping investigation on the storage electric water heater imported from China with a capacity greater than or equal to 20 liters but less than or equal to 150 liters (MERCOSUR tariff No. 10.00), and decided to impose 131% ad valorem duty, In addition, the Argentine government accepts the set commitment price with  WUHU MIDEA KITCHEN & BATH APPLIANCES MFG. CO. LTD.; GUANGDONG VANWARD ELECTRIC CO. LTD and GUANGDONG GEMAKE ELECTRIC APPLIANCE CO. LTD.for a period of five years. The Afghan customs will confiscate the deposit paid at the time of import of these products in accordance with Article 3 of the resolution 271 / 2021 of the Ministry of production on June 8, 2021.

The Argentine official gazette published the Resolution No. 42 / 2022 of the Ministry of production on February 4, 2022 as follows: from the date of the announcement, the anti-dumping investigation will be continued on the electric fan metal protective net cover imported from China with a diameter of more than 400mm and used for the built-in motor (MERCOSUR tariff No. 8414.90.20), and a temporary anti-dumping duty (ad valorem duty) will be imposed for a period of 6 months, with a tax rate of 73%. When importing the products involved, the importer must pay a deposit equal to the temporary ad valorem tax.
